Collaboration is about trust and communication. Trust is essential in collaboration. You must be able and willing to communicate with the other person. We realized the importance of not refreshing the page to view the most recent information. It is not unusual for multiple users to be working on the same task simultaneously, with all of them commenting together. This can cause confusion and time-wasting as they will not be able to see other comments until they reload the page or re-enter the task. ActiveCollab has the ability to use chat programs like Slack and Skype to make comments in real-time. It makes communication more natural and fluid by removing the artificial barriers technology places on us.
