What knowledge do you need to become IBM Certified Application Developer – Cloud Platform v2
1. Working knowledge of:
IBM Bluemix is used to develop an application
The 12-factor application method
Core Cloud Services (caching and messaging, object storage, and object storage).
Continuous delivery via cloud-based methods
Cloud operations services (scaling and monitoring, logging, etc.)
Open technologies such as Containers, Cloud Foundry, and Git-based repositories include Cloud Foundry, Containers, or both
2. Understanding:
OpenWhisk and serverless computing platforms
Watson Cognitive service capabilities
Cloud security practices (authentication API key security, data security)
3. Basic knowledge of:
application development using Node.js
Common web technologies include html, Javascript and css
To verify, you will need to pass one test – Test C5050-384. This is the IBM Cloud Platform Application Development version 2.
This test gives you the best chance of earning the IBM certification. It consists 56 questions and takes approximately an hour and a quarter to complete. Passing score is required to pass the test.
